A Statewide Fun and Fitness Program |
|
|
Our Kick Off event will be inside Post Oak Mall in front of JC Penney again. We've learned that the weather can be pretty unpredictable at this time of year and we want to be comfortable while warming up.
February 11th at 10 a.m.
A proclamation will be read. Speakers will explain how it works. We'll have a leader warm us up and then walk everybody around the mall for their first mile. The stretching and a few door prizes come afterwards. We will also have a short "Team Captain's" meeting to explain how to get registered on the web site directly afterwards. Walk Across Texas t-shirts will be for sale. We are considering only placing a single order this year. If you have special requests please speak up and ask for long sleeved shirts or "extra" sizes.

We warm-up. We walk (our first mile). We cool-down. This is a great opportunity to get some special instruction on getting the most out of your workouts without hurting yourself. |
