Police Searching For Robbery Suspects (UPDATE)
Both Willie Johnson and Donny Whaley have been placed under arrest for the Aggravated Robbery that took place on December 20, 2010 at the Shell Gas Station.
It was reported to the Bryan Police Department that Willie Johnson turned himself in to the Madisonville County Sheriff’s Office on January 3, 2011. He is currently in jail in Madisonville and has a bond for $75,000 for the Aggravated Robbery in Bryan.
Donny Whaley turned himself in to the Madisonville County Sheriff’s Office on December 30, 2010. He was then transported to Brazos County and is currently in jail at the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office on a $75,000 bond for the Aggravated Robbery.

Two possible suspects in the robbery of the Shell Gas Station on December 20, 2010 have been identified. One has been identified as Willie Johnson, a 21 year old male from Madisonville, and the other has been identified as Donny Whaley, a 34 year old male from Madisonville. Both subjects are wanted for Aggravated Robbery in reference to this case.
This is an active investigation and is still ongoing. Do not attempt to contact or approach these suspects. The Bryan Police Department is searching for two suspects that robbed the Shell Gas Station at 890 North Harvey Mitchell Parkway at Leonard Road on December 20, 2010 at 4:38 in the morning. Two suspects entered the business and demanded money from the clerk. One of the suspects was displaying a firearm during the commission of the crime. The suspects made away with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured during the robbery. The two unknown suspects fled the scene in an unknown vehicle eastbound down Leonard Road.
One suspect is described as a black male wearing a red long sleeve shirt, plaid pajama pants, white tennis shoes, and red and white striped gloves. The thin build male was also wearing a camouflage mask on his face and displayed a small handgun.
The other suspect appears heavier than the first suspect. He was wearing a black leather jacket, black pants, dark colored shoes and had a black mask on his face.
The Bryan Police Department is releasing still images of the suspects in hope that the subjects may be identified. This is an ongoing investigation.
