Summer Camps offered by Bryan Parks & Recreation
The City of Bryan offers several camps for children ages 5-12 years old during the Summer school break. Information on the camps is below, and posted online: Bryan Parks & Recreation Summer Camps.
Camp H.E.R.O. promotes health and self esteem, while keeping your child active through exciting games, field trips and swim days. Your child will learn skills such as first-aid, leadership and fitness. Each child will have the opportunity to earn up to 12 badges by mastering certain skills and attitudes throughout the summer. Registration is open now through the end of the camp (Aug. 12) at the Bryan Parks and Recreation office (1309 E. MLK Blvd.) or on site during the camp.
Dates: May 23 – August 12
Time: 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Cost: $100/week for the first child and $90/week for each additional child or $25/day per child
Registration fee: $20 for one child or $30 for the family

Summer Parks Program
The Summer Parks Program is an afternoon-camp that offers a place for your child to come play, meet new friends and enjoy the outdoors. From exciting field trip and swim days, to kickball tournaments and arts and crafts, your child will have the opportunity to enjoy a wide variety of fun outdoor activities. Registration takes place on the first day of camp at the park of your choice. If your child is a walker please send a completed registration form with him/her.
Dates: May 31 – July 8
Time: 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. (No lunch provided, please eat before you come!)
Cost: FREE (with the exception of $5 for each field trip)
Park Locations: Bonham, Austin’s Colony, Sadie Thomas, Haswell, Henderson, Villa West, Williamson, Tanglewood and Tiffany
