Press Release Tuesday, May 24, 2011Bryan Mayor asks citizens to support Joplin, MO Supply Drive
Bryan Mayor Jason Bienski is urging all local residents to participate in the supply drive put on by Bryan Broadcasting and KBTX Media for the survivors of the Joplin, Missouri tornado. Joplin was hit by storms on Sunday evening, devastating the town and killing more than 100 people. The following supplies are being collected in the parking lot in front of the Crystal Park Plaza building (2700 Earl Rudder Freeway South in College Station): - Water - Batteries - Tarps - Diapers - Blankets - Toiletries of all kinds - Baby formula - Money will be accepted and used to purchase items listed above The drive is expected to last until 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24.
