UPDATE:
Highway 6 at N. Texas Ave. is now open to normal traffic. Both the northbound and southbound lanes are open.
There were a total of 3 accidents on HWY 6 today.
11:06 am a single car rollover accident at the exit ramp of Highway 6 and Briarcrest Drive frontage road (southbound)
No one transported
12:01 pm two car major accident at Highway 6 and N. Texas Ave. (northbound). Accident crossed over the southbound lanes as well causing all of Highway 6 to be shut down for over 2 hours.
Two persons transported due to injuries.
12:43 pm a two car minor accident on the frontage road of Highway 6 at N. Texas Ave (southbound).
No one transported.
Construction does not appear to be an issue with any of the accidents. Although, construction is still going on Highway 6 in certain area, so please use caution.

There is a major two car accident on highway 6 at N. Texas Ave. Police are on scene investigating the accident.
Southbound traffic on HWY 6 has been shut down and diverted to N. Texas Ave.
Northbound traffic on HWY 6 has been shut down to one lane.
These road closures can be expected for up to one hour. Officers are working on foot in the area. A second minor accident has occurred do to the congestion. Please avoid this area if at all possible and use caution.
