Sign up now for 5K Run at Texas Reds Festival
Online registration is now available for the Mary Crowley Cancer Research Centers 5K Run at Texas Reds, a race that will start and end at Gloria Stephan Sale Park in Downtown Bryan on Saturday, October 8.

In addition to a 5K run (5,000 meters or 3.1 miles), there will also be 3K walk (3,000 meters or 1.86 miles) available for participants. All proceeds from the run will go to the Mary Crowley Cancer Research Centers – a national leader in genetic cancer research with a commitment to dramatically altering cancer treatment by translating new discoveries into early phase clinical trials.
A Mary Crowley Cancer Research Center will soon occupy space on the Texas A&M Health Science Center campus on Highway 47 in Bryan.
Opening the second day of the 5th Annual Texas Reds Steak & Grape Festival with an 8:00 a.m. start time, participants in the 5K run will begin their race on the west side of Gloria Stephan Sale Park in Downtown Bryan (located on Main Street between 28th and 29th streets).

Runners will start by running south on Bryan Avenue, merge on to Sims Avenue, and continue on to Finfeather Road. The course turns west at Bittle Lane, before turning north on Groesbeck Street. Runners will continue on Groesbeck to the intersection with Finfeather. Runners will then retrace their route to Sale Park for the finish.
The cost to enter either the 5K run or the 3K walk is $30.
About the Texas Reds Steak & Grape Festival
The Texas Reds Steak & Grape Festival will be held in Historic Downtown Bryan on October 7-8. The festival is a celebration of Texas steaks and wines, and features craft vendors, a steak cook-off competition, a Kids Zone, grape stomping, and live entertainment all day – including headliner Joe Nichols.
