Watch a full replay of the BISD Hall of Honor Ceremony

Viewers can now watch the 2011 Bryan Independent School District’s Hall of Honor Ceremony in its entirety on the City of Bryan and BISD’s joint television channel – Suddenlink Channel 16.

The Hall of Honor ceremony, which was held on Saturday, August 20, was a partnership between the BISD Education Foundation, Bryan ISD, and the City of Bryan. At the ceremony, eight distinguished graduates from Bryan schools were honored. The deserving honorees were chosen from more than 70 nominations, and were selected based on their achievements, strength of character, and citizenship. Recipients are considered models who inspire and challenge today’s students.

Hall of Honor nomination categories included Arts/Humanities, Business/Industry, Community Service, Education, Public Service, Recreation/Athletics, and Special Recognition.

The 2011 Hall of Honor inductees are: Johnny Lampo, Richard Smith, Dr. Bob Huffaker, Dr. Oswell Person, Leroy Sterling, Carol Crocker Sisco, Dr. Jennifer Birkner Hathaway, and Dr. Jon Ellis. Plans have already started for the 2012 Hall of Honor Ceremony, to be held on August 18, 2012.
