Road Closures/Parking Information for Texas Reds Festival
The City of Bryan will close several streets during the 5th Annual Texas Reds Steak & Grape Festival, on October 7-8 in Historic Downtown Bryan.
The following road closures will be in effect as of 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 6.
- William J. Bryan Parkway (FM 158) from Sims Avenue to Texas Avenue (detour around this closure by using 29th Street and Sims Avenue)
- Main Street and Bryan Avenue from 29th Street to 23rd Street
- Carnegie Alley from 28th Street to 26th Street
- 23rd, 24th, 26th, 27th, and 28th Streets between Parker and Tabor avenues
These road closures will be in effect until the Texas Reds Festival perimeter fence is taken down, which is scheduled to occur at approximately 2:00 a.m. on Sunday.
Parking in the Texas Reds Festival perimeter (please see attached map) is not permitted starting at 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 6. Downtown merchants, patrons, and visitors will have to park outside of this perimeter on Friday, October 7 and Saturday, October 8. These parking restrictions will be in effect until the Texas Reds Festival perimeter fence is taken down, which is scheduled to occur at approximately 2:00 a.m. on Sunday.
PARK & RIDE SHUTTLE
Free parking is available at Blinn College (2423 Blinn Blvd., Bryan) and free shuttles will transport festival attendees to and from the event perimeter. Buses will run every 10-15 minutes and will be in service on Friday, October 7, from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and on Saturday, October 8, from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. (midnight.) A van shuttle service will also run between 12:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. each night.
ROY KELLY MULTIMODAL TERMINAL & PARKING GARAGE
The Brazos Transit District operates a new parking garage located on 26th Street across the street from the Brazos County Courthouse. Public parking will be available in the parking garage for the Texas Reds Festival for a fee of $10 per vehicle (no re-entries).
