Municipal golf course to hold family hours

On Sunday, June 10, the Travis B. Bryan Municipal Golf Course will hold special family golf hours from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

The family hours are part of a goal to encourage parents and their kids to come to the golf course together. An additional set of tees will be set up on every fairway, so families can tee off together. These new tee locations will establish a beginner-friendly short course, without impacting the course for other golfers.

The “family course” will be set up on the 2nd Sunday of each month, and the 4th Saturday of each month. After Sunday, the next family course day will be Saturday, June 23. The family course will be set up on those days from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., and regular rates apply.
