Roger Creager to headline Texas Reds Festival
Texas Country music artist Roger Creager (http://www.rogercreager.com/) has been announced as the headline entertainer at the 6th Annual Texas Reds Steak & Grape Festival on October 13 in Downtown Bryan.
Bryan Mayor Jason Bienski made the announcement during the Tuesday evening City Council meeting. It was also revealed that country music legend Johnny Lee (http://www.johnnyleefanclub.com/) will be on the main stage with his Urban Cowboy Band immediately preceding Creager, and the Texas Tornados (http://thetexastornados.com/) will headline the main stage on Friday, October 12.
Creager has been a force on the Texas Country music scene for more than a decade. The Texas A&M-graduate is best known for his hit songs “The Everclear Song”, “Fun All Wrong”, “Love”, “Turn It Up”, “Love Is Crazy”, and “Long Way to Mexico”.
Johnny Lee and the Urban Cowboy Band have 12 top-10 hits among their impressive catalog of songs from the past 30 years. Included among those are number one hits: “Lookin’ for Love”, “One in a Million”, “Bet Your Heart on Me”, “The Yellow Rose”, and “You Could’ve Heard a Heart Break”.
The Grammy-award winning Texas Tornados have performed all over the world, including the Presidential Inauguration of Bill Clinton, the David Letterman Show, and regular appearances at the Houston Livestock and Rodeo Show. They won a Grammy Award in 1990 for "Best Mexican/American Performance."
