Help a Firefighter - Eat Chili and Donate Blood!
Fundraising Benefit / Blood Drive to Help Bryan Firefighter Fight Cancer
WHAT: The City of Bryan’s Fire Department has teamed up to help their own, and will be feeding the masses at the same time. A fundraising benefit is being organized on Friday, January 25th to raise monetary support for 28-year veteran Bryan firefighter Steve Scrivener. The proceeds of the benefit will be donated to Fireman Scrivener to help him offset medical bills incurred due to his being diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
HOW: Eat Heartily! From 11:30a-1:30p, the famous chili of Firefighters David Turek and Wesley Gideon will be available to the public for just $5/bowl. To go orders will be available at Bryan’s Central Fire Station on 300 W. William Joel Bryan Avenue. Email your order ahead of time at email@example.com or just stop by Friday and pick some up to go!
HOW #2: Donate blood! From 11a-3p, you can donate blood and help this cause, also at the same location, Bryan’s Central Fire Station. Reserve your time the following 2 ways:
