City of Bryan Launches New Episode of “Bryan Today”
Second Show Features Interview with David Watkins About City’s Image
The City of Bryan premiered the new episode of “Bryan Today”, the City’s in-depth television show, at noon on Thursday, May 8. The new episode highlights one of the key components to the City’s strategic plan – Image.
City Manager David Watkins sat down with “Bryan Today’s” host, Allen Bruggman, to talk about why image is important to the City, and what is being done to promote and improve the City’s image. Viewers will also get an update on preparations for the upcoming Texas Reds Steak & Grape Festival from Gwynne Shillings of Bryan’s Parks & Recreation Department.
Mary Strauss, the City’s new Sustainability Programs Coordinator, wraps up the show with a glance at all the “Green” programs the City participates in. Strauss talks about the programs that not only help the city’s image, but also sustain the environment in which we all live.
