City of Bryan Launches New BryanTX.gov
New Website to Provide Citizens with Better Accessibility
The City of Bryan’s Communications & Marketing Department has launched a revamped edition of the City’s webpage. BryanTX.gov has a brand new look, with updated graphics and banners and features a much easier navigation system.
All the menu bars on the webpage have been streamlined, so finding City information and City services will now be easier than ever. Among the new features added to the website is a Google Custom Search bar located on every page of the City’s site. This will allow users to search BryanTX.gov from anywhere on the website.
The presence of video on the website is also a major change. Links on the main page send users directly to archived episodes of the City’s TV show, “Bryan Today”, as well as City Council meetings, Council workshops and Planning & Zoning meetings.
An up-to-date weather bar was also added to the main page. This will give users the opportunity to check current weather conditions as well as a 5-day forecast – all without ever leaving the City site.
The new website has also been adjusted for users with differing screen resolutions. The page will automatically adjust itself to fit any computer monitor, making it easier to navigate between pages.
