City of Bryan Launches New Episode of “Bryan Today”
Fifth Show Features Strategic Plan Initiative “Education”
The City of Bryan will premiere the new episode of “Bryan Today”, the City’s in-depth television show, at noon on Thursday, June 19. The new episode highlights one of the key components to the City’s strategic plan – Education.
The City’s Communications and Marketing Specialist Allen Bruggman opens the show by walking viewers through the various ways the City educates its citizens about events and news.
The show then stops in and gets a sneak peek at the latest City of Bryan Water Calendar. Graphic Designer Asim Lewis gives a little background on the calendar and tells viewers how it doubles as the Water Department’s Annual Report – another component of education.
From there, “Bryan Today” visits with Neighborhood Services Manager Ronnie Jackson. Mr. Jackson talks about how his department works hand in hand with neighborhood associations throughout the city to educate them on city matters.
“Bryan Today” then checks in with Bryan ISD’s Communications Director Sandy Farris to find out what’s going on in the school district and to hear about ways the City and the ISD are partnering together to promote education.
The show wraps up with a special look at the City of Bryan Employee Appreciation Days at the Brazos Valley Bombers baseball games.
“Bryan Today” can be watched on Channel 16 at any of the times below (see new schedule), or any time at www.BryanTX.gov. Episodes 1-4 are also available online.
