Eighth Show Features Strategic Plan Component of “Public Safety”
The City of Bryan has released the new episode of “Bryan Today”, the City’s in-depth television show, on noon Thursday, July 31. The new episode continues “Bryan Today’s” countdown of the key components to the City’s strategic plan with Public Safety. The City’s Communications and Marketing Specialist Allen Bruggman is joined on this week’s episode with Police Chief Ty Morrow and Fire Chief Mike Donoho. Chief Donoho gives viewers an update on the City’s new Fire Station 5 which is being built on the west-side of town. Chief Morrow follows on the program with a room-by-room tour of the new Justice Center that will house the Police Department and Bryan’s Municipal Court.
Episode 8 also marks the final time the City’s television show will be known as “Bryan Today.” The City has created a new television show with Bryan ISD named “Bryan: Living and Learning.” The new show will have all the same elements of “Bryan Today” with the addition of Bryan ISD news and events. The new show will be a full 30 minutes with hosting duties shared by Bruggman and BISD Communications Director Sandy Farris.
“Bryan Today” can be watched on Channel 16 at any of the times below (see schedule), or any time at www.BryanTX.gov. Episodes 1-7 are also available online. “Bryan: Living and Learning” will keep the same Channel 16 schedule in addition to airing on the CW and KBTX.
