Roadwork scheduled on Miramont Circle
The City of Bryan is contracting road work for a section of Miramont Circle between the intersection of Copperfield Drive and Heron Lakes Drive.
Construction will begin the morning of Thursday, Sept. 18. The roadwork involves excavating the existing roadway, treating the subgrade, placing a limestone base course and placing asphalt for the final road surface.
While there may be times that access is blocked, the road should have at least one lane of traffic open during the majority of base work, which should take about a week. The road will then fully open to traffic but may be somewhat rough prior to the final asphalt surface being placed, which should be the following week.
This project is part of the city’s $3.5 million annual street maintenance contract with Knife River. Motorists are advised to use caution in the area, slow down and watch for flagmen and workers in the area.
