Justice Center dedication, open house set for Sept. 30
The City of Bryan invites the community to attend a ribbon-cutting and dedication ceremony at Bryan’s new Justice Center complex on Tuesday, Sept.30. The event is set to begin at 4 p.m.
The ceremony will highlight the recent opening of the justice center, which houses Bryan’s police department and municipal court.
“We are thrilled to show off this beautiful new building to the public,” said Bryan Police Chief Tyrone Morrow.
This is the first facility ever built in the City of Bryan for the specific purpose of housing a police department and municipal court. The $17.5 million structure stands at the corner of East 29th Street and Texas Avenue.
“This building belongs to our community, and we want to share it with them,” said Hilda Cuthbertson, Bryan’s municipal court administrator.
The dedication ceremony will include a brief program, followed by refreshments and tours provided by graduates of Bryan’s Citizens Police Academy and Chaplains Corps.
