Groups invited to offer input on Bryan’s CIP
The City of Bryan is seeking feedback from its citizens on the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP).
The CIP is a five-year forecast for major infrastructure projects and includes plans for funding such projects. Capital improvement projects include road and street repair, traffic signal installation, sidewalk installation and drainage around the City of Bryan.
Homeowners’ associations, neighborhood groups and other local agencies are invited to contact City Engineer Paul Kaspar to schedule a 20-minute presentation on the CIP where he will take questions and accept feedback. The feedback will then be utilized in the prioritization of the plan and the results presented to City Council with the draft CIP for years 2010-2014.
For more information on Bryan’s CIP, click on the following link: www.bryantx.gov/cip/. In addition to a summary memo of the CIP and the ranking criteria used for projects, there also is a video available on this site to show the actual locations and scheduled improvements.
