Carter Creek Parkway Road Work To Begin Feb. 5th
Knife River, working for the City of Bryan, will begin work on Thursday, Feb. 5th to patch and overlay Carter Creek Parkway between Tanglewood Park and Esther Boulevard. Work will include wedge grinding the street at the curb lines, base failure repairs and an asphalt overlay within the project limits. Work will begin Thursday morning and will take approximately two weeks to complete. It is important not to leave any parked vehicles in the street during this time.
Carter Creek Parkway will continue to be accessible during most of the construction with traffic being routed around machinery and crews by signage, cones and/or flaggers. Traffic detours may be required during work near the intersection of Villa Maria to maintain safe working conditions. This intersection will have police presence during this time. We ask that drivers slow down when around construction signage, equipment and crews, obey all detours and flaggers, and proceed with caution in this work zone.
This work is part of the annual street maintenance contract.
