New Episode of “Bryan Living and Learning” This Sunday
15th Episode Features Family Solutions Kick-off
The City of Bryan and Bryan ISD have released the new episode of “Bryan Living and Learning”, their in-depth television show. The most recent episode is once again hosted by Bryan’s Communications Specialist Allen Bruggman and Bryan ISD’s Communications Director, Sandy Farris.
The two hosts introduce a variety of stories during Episode 15. The City’s feature story is a look at Family Solutions. Family Solutions is a program that pulls people from all over the community in an effort to mentor “at-risk” families and students. The City also gives a preview for the 2009 Texas Reds Steak & Grape Festival and gives viewers a look at the Police Department’s 2008 Awards Banquet.
City cameras also show viewers a drug-house being torn down in an effort to clean up a Bryan neighborhood and remind folks about the current warrant amnesty period.
Bryan ISD checks in with an innovative program called Bronco Bucks that rewards students for good behavior, and gives a special look at the nutrition in Bryan ISD schools. Host Sandy Farris also takes a turn working in the cafeteria – preparing macaroni and cheese for the students. The ISD also has a story about a unique program that allows Bryan students to gain teaching experience instructing younger students.
