Attorney Generalís investigation complete
An inquiry by the Texas Attorney Generalís Office into a November disturbance at the home of Bryan Police Chief Tyrone Morrow has ended, resulting in a grand jury ďno bill,Ē meaning the grand jury did not find any basis for criminal charges, City officials learned Thursday.
The next step in the process is an internal affairs investigation, which will be conducted by Kenneth Lybrand of Intelligence Services of Texas. The investigation, a standard procedure, is expected to take a few weeks to complete.
Bryan City Manager David Watkins will review all information and consider options for the future.
Neither the City Managerís Office nor the Police Department will issue any further statements at this time, due to the ongoing internal affairs investigation.
