Tip-a-Cop

Local Law Enforcement Officers are participating in the Special Olympics Tip-a-Cop fundraiser. This year Tip-a-Cop will be held at the Texas Roadhouse Restaurant at 1601 University Drive East in College Station. Officers from the Bryan Police Department, College Station Police Department, Brazos County Sheriff’s Department and Texas A&M University Police Department will assist the wait staff of the Texas Roadhouse for tips. Officers will refill drinks and assist the public in anyway possible to collect tips, all of which will directly benefit the Special Olympics in our area.

Chiefs from each department will be door greeters and vehicles from each department will be in the parking lot on display.

Law Enforcement officers are keepers of the flame for the Special Olympics and raise money for the Special Olympics each year. Officers participate in a Torch Run every year to the Special Olympics State games and volunteer time working security at games held here in the Brazos Valley.

We ask that you take the family out to dinner at the Texas Roadhouse tonight, March 25th, or (and!) tomorrow night, March 26th, from 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm for a good meal and fun with local Law Enforcement Officers. It will be fun for the whole family, a positive impact on our community, and your tips for these officers will directly benefit a great cause and a great asset to the Brazos Valley.

If you are unable to make Tip-a-Cop and would like to make a monetary donation to the Special Olympics you mail to:
