New Episode of “Bryan Living and Learning” Airs Sunday
27th Episode Features a Look at Community Development Dept.
The City of Bryan and Bryan ISD will release the new episode of “Bryan Living and Learning”, their in-depth television show. The most recent episode is once again hosted by Bryan’s Communications Specialist Allen Bruggman and Bryan ISD’s Communications Director, Sandy Farris.
The two hosts introduce a variety of stories during Episode 27. The City’s feature story is a look at a new bus fleet at the Brazos Transit District. Congressman Chet Edwards was on-hand with Bryan Mayor Mark Conlee to welcome the new buses. The City’s Be Green In Bryan segment is all about BTU’s lighting rebates and how residents can save some money. The last two stories are on the Summer Reading Program graduation ceremony and a look at the press conference where Bryan’s new police chief was named.
Bryan ISD checks in with a look at the District’s new teachers. All the new employees had a luncheon and several days of learning about Bryan. The ISD also has a feature on two of the five new principals in the District. The other three will be profiled on the next episode. Their final two stories are about the various athletic programs preparing for their upcoming seasons and how the surrounding community helps Bryan students get ready for school.
