Bryan Texas Utilities ranks high in customer survey

Bryan Texas Utilities placed fifth out of 29 surveyed utilities and was the highest-ranked utility in Texas, according to a customer survey that will be presented to the City Council on Tuesday.

J.D. Power and Associates sent surveys to 300 BTU customers, asking them about things like the utility’s power quality and reliability, price, billing and payment, corporate citizenship, communications and customer service.

BTU ranked higher than its peer utilities in every area, scoring highest in customer service and power quality and reliability. The results of the survey will presented in detail to the Bryan City Council during an afternoon workshop on Tuesday, Sept. 22.
