Mayor to present Downtown Impact Award on Thursday
Bryan Mayor Mark Conlee will present the 10th annual Mayor’s Downtown Impact Award at 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, during a volunteer reception at the Brazos Center.
The Mayor’s Downtown Impact Award honors an extraordinary effort by an individual and/or organization to revitalize Historic Downtown.
The award is sponsored by The Bank and Trust of Bryan, which donates $500 to the Boys and Girls Club of Brazos Valley in the name of the award winner. The actual award is provided by The Discount Trophy Group.
“We are proud each year to recognize individuals and businesses that make significant contributions to our downtown,” Conlee said. “We had several deserving nominees this year, and a very tough decision to make.”
