Bryan to host historic resource survey meeting
The public is invited to attend a forum at 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 27, regarding the historic resource survey of the residential area west of Downtown Bryan.
A historic resource survey is a systematic process for gathering information and identifying a community or area’s historical resources and evaluating such resources for land-use planning purposes.
Citizens are encouraged to bring historical photographs and documentation to assist the City’s consultants, Hardy, Heck and Moore, Inc., in preparing this report.
The meeting will be held in City Hall Council Chambers at 300 South Texas Avenue in Bryan.
The study area is generally bounded by William J. Bryan Parkway to the north, Bryan Avenue to the east, West 33rd to the south and South Brazos Avenue to the west.
For more information or to view maps of the study area, contact Julie Fulgham, Senior Planner, at (979) 209-5030.
