Bryan Police Make Arrest In Robbery
On Friday, February 19, 2010, at approximately 10:05am, The Bryan Police Department was dispatched to a robbery at Ready 2 Go, located at 1600 South College Ave in Bryan. The caller stated that a white male entered the business with a weapon and demanded money. The suspect left the business with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the area on foot. No one was injured during the robbery.
Officers from the Bryan Police Department and other local law enforcement agencies arrived in the area to search for the suspect. After a short search the suspect was located and arrested.
The suspect is a juvenile and his identity cannot be released.
The juvenile booked in and released to the Brazos County Juvenile Detention Center.
Robbery is a First Degree Felony, which is punishable by confinement from 5 to 99 years in prison or life in prison; and an optional fine not to exceed $10,000.
