Communications Department nominated for 4 state awards
The City of Bryan’s Communications and Marketing Department is a finalist for four statewide awards, the Texas Association of Municipal Information Officers announced Wednesday.
Among the award finalists are a 30-second commercial, the City’s biweekly television show Bryan Living and Learning, the Water Quality Report calendar and a marketing campaign that shows creativity at a low cost.
“I want to commend Allen Bruggman, Shawn Eyre, Shawn Smith and Craig Weaver for their creativity and for putting out a consistent, quality product. I am proud to work alongside such talent,” said April Saginor, Director of the Communications Department.
The winners in all categories will be announced during the annual Tami Awards luncheon on June 11 in San Marcos. Bryan’s Communications Department won top honors in four categories at last year’s TAMIO conference, more than any other municipality in Texas.
