Texas Police Association Conference
The Texas Police Association (TPA) is pleased to join local law enforcement agencies in bringing the 111th Annual Training Conference to Bryan – College Station, June 11 – 13, 2010. This is the first time that the TPA Conference is being held in our area. TPA is a non-profit organization open to all law enforcement entities in Texas and dedicated to advancing professionalism in law enforcement through training and ethics.
Through the combined efforts of the Bryan-College Station Area Law Enforcement Agencies, this year’s conference will be great, not only for the individual officer, but for their family as well. Officers attending will receive some of the best training available, focusing on issues currently confronting law enforcement. The Hilton College Station Hotel and Conference Center will be host hotel for the conference and will be the location of the training and exhibitors.
Training classes will be held on June 12th and June 13th. Training is open to any law enforcement officer in the State of Texas. Many of the law enforcement officers bring their family with them to the training. There will be activities for the family throughout Bryan-College Station.
The Texas Police Association will also hold its Annual Golf Tournament at the Pebble Creek Country Club Golf Course, Friday, June 11, 2010 at 8:30 a.m. The registration fee is $65.00 for TPA Members and $85.00 for Non-Members. Registration fee includes green fee, cart fee, and lunch.
Events scheduled for spouses, family members, and friends include a tour of Downtown Bryan, lunch at Must Be Heaven, and a tour of Messina Hoff. For the children activities include: Gatti Town, Grand Station Entertainment, and Henderson Harbor Pool. If you see conference members about town, please give them a warm Aggieland welcome.
