Children's Museum Police Camp
Don’t forget that Police Camp is NEXT WEEK!!!
The Bryan Police Department has partnered with the Children’s Museum to offer the children of our community a Police Camp. This is the second year that the camp has been offered and is aimed for children ages 8 to 12 years of age.
The camp will allow the children to see many aspects of the Police Department. The children will get to meet numerous officers and see the Police K9 at work, see patrol vehicles and motorcycles, see a demonstration by the Tactical Response Team, and work an age appropriate mock crime scene with the Crime Scene Unit.
Police Camp is one of many summer camps offered by The Children’s’ Museum. The Police Camp is held July 12th-16th from 9am-12pm and is limited to only 30 children. This program is a great event for the Police Department to build positive relationships with the youth of our community. The cost for the Police camp is $120 for non-members and $100 for members of The Children’s Museum. If interested in participating in the Police Camp or volunteering at The Children’s Museum, please visit their website at www.mymuseum.com.
