Bryan Police Investigate Homicide
A suspect in the homicide has been identified. Evidence is being analyzed and processed. Upon completion, it will be presented to the District Attorney who will determine the appropriate charges to file, if any.

The deceased has been identified as Stephanie Oldham, a 29 year old Bryan resident.
This is still an ongoing investigation. No arrests have been made in reference to this investigation. Investigators are still processing the evidence in the case.
On July 25, 2010 at 6:36 pm, the Bryan Police Department responded to a stabbing call at 500 E. 31st St. When officers arrived they found a female victim with stab wounds. The victim was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital by the Bryan Fire Department for treatment. The victim later died at the hospital from injuries. The Bryan Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division (CID) responded to the scene and is investigating the case as a homicide.
The victim has been identified and her identity will be released once the family has been notified.
A possible suspect has been detained and a witness is being questioned by investigators.
