UPDATE: Fatality Accident - Suspect Flees the Scene
The suspect driver in the fatality accident that occurred on September 17, 2010, was identified as Vincent Tates, a 37 year old male from Bryan, Texas. A warrant for Accident Involving Injury/Death was issued for the suspect.
On September 24, 2010 at 6:00 am, the Bryan Police Department initiated a warrant service in the 3300 block of Providence St. and located the suspect. The suspect was placed under arrest for the second degree felony warrant. He is currently incarcerated at the Brazos County jail with a bond set at $250,000.

On September 20, 2010, with the assistance of anonymous tips from Crime Stoppers, the Bryan Police Department has located the suspect vehicle involved in the fatality accident. The pickup truck has been secured by police and is being processed for evidence.
A person of interest has been identified in the investigation and police have questioned the individual. The investigation is still ongoing and evidence will be submitted to the District Attorney’s office to determine the appropriate charges to be filed.
