Road construction begins Monday, October 11
Knife River, working for the City of Bryan, is scheduled to begin work on the Finfeather/Turkey Creek/W. Carson Intersection on Monday, October 11. This intersection is being replaced with concrete pavement which will take approximately six weeks to complete.
During construction, the traffic light at this intersection will be set to flashing red, making it a four way stop. Finfeather will narrow to one lane of traffic each direction. Turkey Creek and W. Carson will allow right turn only traffic onto Finfeather during the first phase of construction, but will then be closed at Finfeather and have all traffic detoured when phase two begins.
Motorists are advised to plan their trips accordingly when traveling in this area, and to obey all traffic control devices.
This work is part of Bryan’s $2.8 million annual street maintenance contract.
