UPDATE - Construction on 29th Street POSTPONED
Construction to replace the asphalt overlay on 29th street has been postponed for several weeks. When the construction is officially rescheduled, the City of Bryan will release that information.
Original Oct. 20 Release:
Knife River, a contractor for the City of Bryan, is scheduled to begin work on 29th Street, between Villa Maria and Briarcrest, on Thursday, October 21st. Asphalt on the outside lanes will be removed to provide a smooth transition for the new asphalt overlay, which will follow.
During construction, traffic in either direction may be narrowed to one lane to avoid construction equipment. Motorists are advised to plan their trips accordingly when traveling in this area, and to obey all traffic control devices.
This work is part of Bryan’s $2.8 million annual street maintenance contract.
