Broadmoor Drive Traffic Islands, Roundabout Construction Begins January 8th

On Monday, January 8, 2018, contractors will begin the installation of traffic calming devices along Broadmoor Drive to help improve the quality and safety of our neighborhood streets as part of the Local Area Traffic Management (LATM) program. Please note through traffic will not be permitted along Broadmoor Drive from Janice Trail to Camelot Drive.

WHAT: Road Closure
WHERE: Broadmoor Drive, Janice Trail to Camelot Drive
WHEN: Monday, January 8th through Saturday, March 31st – 8 AM to 5 PM, daily, weather permitting

This work is part of the ongoing 2017 Street Maintenance Program and will be completed by Larry Young Paving, Inc. Crews will install choker islands, splitter islands, and a roundabout along Broadmoor Drive. It is anticipated work will conclude on or before March 31, 2018.

Since Broadmoor Drive will be closed to through traffic from Janice Trail to Camelot Drive for the duration of the project, drivers are encouraged to follow the detour signage and utilize alternate routes during the construction period. In addition, drivers are asked to please use caution and pay special attention when traveling through the work zone.
