Donated to the City of Bryan by the Brazos Heritage Society in 1993, Heritage Park is a neighborhood park with an historical flair. The gazebo in the middle of the park is named after Matthew Winsper Knobel and is very popular for hosting outdoor weddings. The beautiful Memoire sculpture was donated by Margueritte Gardner in 2001 in remembrance of her mother. Also located in the park are exact replicas of the picnic tables and benches from the old Stephen F. Austin High School. The park is host to a 4th of July Parade and Celebration each year.
