Kick off the holiday season with Bryan’s annual Lights On! Help us countdown as we turn on thousands of lights along Main Street and Bryan Avenue to illuminate picturesque Historic Downtown Bryan. This free, family-friendly event will include holiday photo backdrop stations, live music, and a special appearance by Santa Claus.

Holiday Magic

Wednesday, Dec. 6 | 5:30 – 9 p.m.
Sue Haswell Memorial Park
Free admission!

Holiday Magic returns for its 25th year on Wednesday, Dec. 6 from 5:30 – 9 p.m. at Sue Haswell Memorial Park. Admission is free! Park at Blinn College to take advantage of the free shuttle service.

Free activities include hot chocolate, live entertainment highlighting BISD Choirs, kids snow hill for those under 42 inches in height and another snow hill for those taller, photo opportunities with Santa, and more.

Snow Tubing Hill

You must sign our Tubing Hill Participation Agreement and Release of Liability to slide down the snow hill.

You can complete the online form in advance and bring a copy to show at the snow hill entrance, or you can complete the form at the snow hill on Dec. 6. No one will be allowed to slide down the hill without proof of this form being completed.

Nutcracker Ballet

Nutcracker Ballet Storytime

Thursday, Dec. 7 | 5 p.m.

Renew a grand holiday tradition with the Bryan + College Station Public Library System and enjoy this year’s performances of Nutcracker Ballet Storytime. This festive holiday mainstay at our library branches features dancers from Ballet Brazos performing excerpts from The Nutcracker during a reading from The Nutcracker storybook. It is an event you definitely don’t want to miss!

Holiday Parade

Downtown Holiday Stroll and Lighted Parade

Thursday, Dec. 7 | 5 – 9 p.m. (Parade begins at 7 p.m.)
Historic Downtown Bryan
Free admission!

Stroll around Historic Downtown Bryan for an evening of holiday cheer, merriment, and even mark off some of your holiday shopping list before and after Bryan’s annual lighted holiday parade.

Floats, vehicles, fire engines and more – all decorated with lights – will parade through the streets of Downtown Bryan for a night of festive holiday fun! The parade will begin at 7 p.m. at the intersection of 24th Street and Bryan Avenue, travels south on Bryan Avenue, turns left on 28th Street, and then heads back north on Main Street.

This year’s theme is “Howdy Holidays” and floats with the best interpretation and decorations will be awarded prizes!

Travis Fields is excited to welcome everyone back to the annual Winter Wonderland at Travis Fields, presented by the George H. W. Bush Presidential Library & Museum. Join us Saturday, Dec. 2, from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. for all kinds of holiday-themed activities. Bring your family, kids, and friends for a festive afternoon. Admission is free!
