Crews will remove the traffic signal equipment recently replaced as part of this ongoing CIP project.
On Tuesday, September 19, 2017, construction crews will complete infrastructure improvements at the intersection of Sulphur Springs Road and South College Avenue. To accommodate this work, Sulphur Springs Road will be closed at this intersection through Friday, September 22, 2017, weather permitting.

Awarded by Bryan City Council on May 11, 2017, this $2.8 million infrastructure improvement project will be completed by Larry Young Paving. This work is part of the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) project for improvements to South College Avenue which includes the replacement of traffic signals; the installation of new water, sanitary sewer, and storm water lines; new underground telecommunication conduit; and reconstruction of the roadway.
Drivers are encouraged to follow the posted detour signage, utilize alternate routes, and allow extra travel time during the construction period. In addition, drivers are asked to please use caution and pay special attention when traveling through the construction area.
