Did you know that Thanksgiving is the peak day in the United States for home cooking fires? To keep it safe, here are some tips to avoid being a statistic this holiday season.
Camelot Park has a new playground.
Running, jumping, swinging and sliding in new places are just a few of the activities young Bryanites can look forward to enjoying soon. The City of Bryan is working to install five new playgrounds in various parks across the city this summer – just in time for kids to spend time outside in the fun.
- Camelot Park: This new playground was completed in early July and includes regular and handicap-accessible swings, slides and a large play area for kids.
- Bryan Regional Athletic Complex: This playground replaces an older playground and is currently under construction. It includes two shaded structures with slides and various climbing features.
- Henderson Park: This playground was completed in early June and brings updated equipment to the park, including a shaded play structure that features slides and several climbing features.
- Sue Haswell Memorial Park: Currently under construction, this playground features multiple slides, climbing features, swings and shaded areas with separate structures for older and younger children.
Enjoy the fun at the new Henderson Park playground area.
