From Tuesday, Sept. 17 through Thursday, Sept.19, 2019, around 8 a.m., field crews from the City of Bryan’s Water Services Department will be performing smoke testing of the sanitary sewer lines to identify broken pipes and other defects.
The splash pad at Tiffany Park will be closed, beginning immediately, for a construction project to improve drainage in and around the pad. Construction is estimated to take approximately 6 to 8 weeks.
The Bryan City Council approved construction at its Aug. 13, 2019 meeting. The project seeks to alleviate excess standing water that occurs in and around the splash pad during heavy use.
While the splash pad is closed during construction, the park, pavilion and restrooms will remain available for public use.
