Tanglewood Park is one of the city's most popular parks. It follows Burton Creek and is split down the middle by Carter Creek Parkway. Beautiful landscaping and two walking paths make it a highly-walkable area. The park features a large pavilion; picnic tables; restrooms; several playgrounds; lighted tennis courts; a sand volleyball court; ample parking; and a splash pad open during the summer.
