Executive Session

The special meeting begins with Council’s executive session, which is closed to the public.

Open Session for Action Following Executive Session

• Consider appointment of BTU Board Chair for Fiscal Year 2027.

Consent

• Purchase of vehicles and equipment budgeted for Fiscal Year 2027 from Sames for an amount not to exceed $330,365.32.

• Second extension to the Right-of-Way Mowing Contracts with Rios Tree Service and Yellowstone Landscape.

• Annual contract for concrete curb, gutter and flatwork to Brazos Siteworks of Bryan, Texas for an amount not to exceed of $805,475.

• Approval of permits to private waste hauler companies.

• Fiscal Year 2027 fleet blanket purchase orders for tire purchases and repairs.

• Proposed Fiscal Year 2027 Interlocal Agreement with Brazos County for Emergency Medical Services.

• One-year extension to the contract for Mobile Integrated Health Program Professional Services with Buzzard Emergency Consulting, PA.

• Corridor Beautification Grant request for an exterior entryway addition, façade improvements and exterior lighting improvements in the amount of $100,000 for property located at 1200 Briarcrest Drive.

• Third amendment to the Facility Management Agreement between the City of Bryan and Sports Facilities Management, LLC extending the term and consolidating the Facility Management Agreement for the Travis Park Facility.

• Fiscal Year 2027 Funding Agreement between the City of Bryan and the Bryan Business Council.

• Resolution approving the Destination Bryan budget for the fiscal year beginning Oct. 1, 2026 and ending Sept. 30, 2027 and approving and authorizing the Mayor to sign a funding agreement with Destination Bryan for expenses related to the operation and expansion of services provided in Fiscal Year 2027.

Regular

• Approve at the second and final reading, an ordinance on a proposal to adopt a property tax rate of $0.624000 per $100 valuation.

• Ratification of the property tax revenue increase reflected in the Fiscal Year 2027 budget, as required by Texas Local Government Code §102.007(c). The property tax rate of $0.624000 per $100 assessed valuation will provide property tax revenues in support of the Fiscal Year 2027 budget.

• Consider a Chapter 380 Economic Development Agreement between the City of Bryan and NN Out Properties LTD.
