City Offices Closed for Christmas, New Year’s Holidays
City offices will be closed Wednesday, Dec. 24 – Friday, Dec. 26 and Thursday, Jan. 1 for Christmas and New Year's holidays.
Residential solid waste and brush/bulky routes will be collected as usual on Dec. 24, but will not be picked up on Dec. 25 or Jan. 1. Routes will be shifted one day.

To make a BTU bill payment, call 979-821-5700 to use the automated voice service, visit the Bryan Texas Utilities website, or stop by a kiosk (please note, these locations may have separate holiday hours):
- H-E-B, Texas Avenue and State Highway 21
- H-E-B, 725 E. Villa Maria Road
- BTU Administration Building drive-through, 2611 N. Earl Rudder Freeway (open 24 hours)
- Old BTU office drive-through, 205 E. 28th Street (open 24 hours)
For emergencies related to electric, water, wastewater, signals, signs, streets, drainage, and solid waste, call BTU dispatch at 979-822-3777.

Live Christmas Tree Disposal
When you're ready to dispose of your live Christmas tree, remove all decorations, along with metal or plastic stands, and place it at the curb on your regularly scheduled brush and bulky day for free disposal. Ensure the tree is placed at least five feet from fixed objects.
Fireworks are Illegal in Bryan
In the City of Bryan, possessing, storing, selling, using or discharging fireworks of any kind is prohibited. This includes consumer fireworks such as firecrackers, smoke bombs, fountains, sparklers, poppers and Roman candles. Fireworks are also illegal in College Station.
By avoiding fireworks, you’ll not only be abiding by the law but you’ll also be giving your neighbors, military veterans and furry friends a break this holiday season. If you notice fireworks being discharged in your neighborhood, you can report it to the Bryan Police Department’s non-emergency line at 979-361-3888.
