Registration Underway as the Ever-Popular Games of Texas Returns to Bryan, College Station

The countdown is on! The 2026 Summer Games of Texas will return to premier sports venues across Bryan and College Station from July 30-Aug. 2.

Managed by the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation (TAAF), the massive annual athletic festival is co-hosted by the cities of Bryan and College Station, along with Texas A&M University. The twin cities have a long history with the event, having previously hosted in 1988, 1994, 2000, 2014, 2015, 2018, 2019 and 2025.

Beyond the competition, the Olympic-style festival provides a significant economic boost to the local community, cementing the area’s reputation as a premier destination for sports tourism. The 2025 Games attracted more than 7,100 athletes from across the state, generating an estimated $6.5 million for the local economy.

The U.S. Olympic Committee has recognized TAAF as an official state games program participant since 1991.
