Street Name Change Occurring at Travis Bryan Midtown Park to Create Unified Identity

As the transformation of Travis Bryan Midtown Park continues, the City of Bryan is looking to the future by making a street name change, effective Monday, May 18.

In April 2026, Bryan City Council approved an ordinance changing the name of Bomber Drive to Midtown Park Boulevard. The change means Midtown Park Boulevard will now extend through the entire park, from West Villa Maria Road to West Carson Street.

While the Bomber Drive name is a nod to our history, the name change creates a unified identity for the park and its facilities, including Legends Event Center, Topgolf, Travis Fields, Travis Major Field and D-BAT Aggieland. With numerous local, regional and national tournaments and events happening in the park each month, the change also reduces confusion for visitors and emergency response.

Street sign replacement will take place on Monday, May 18.
