Youth volunteers needed for Teen Court & Youth Advisory Commission

The City of Bryan’s Youth Advisory Commission and Teen Court are both looking for teenage volunteers who are interested in making a difference in their community this school year. Through either of these programs, volunteers will gain valuable experience tackling real-life problems, earn community service hours and make lifelong connections.

Teen Court

• Term runs during the school year
• Can be from any school district
• Grades 9 – 12

Volunteers are needed to serve as attorneys and jurors for Teen Court, a real court proceeding through City of Bryan Municipal Court for youth with a first-time, class C misdemeanor.

• Must be enrolled in Bryan ISD or private/home school in Bryan city limits
• Ages 13 – 18

Commissioners assist in solving problems related to Bryan’s teen population in a program that promotes positive growth and development.
