City Offices Closed on July 4 for Independence Day

City offices will be closed Friday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day. First responders, frontline workers, and military personnel are invited to enjoy free admission to city-owned pools; a valid badge or ID is required.

Solid waste and brush/bulky collections will run as normal.

• Coulter Airfield
• Neal Recreation Center
• Public Works Call Center

• Bryan Aquatic Center
  • Lap Swim, 5:30 – 7:30 a.m. & Noon – 8 p.m.
  • Recreational Swim, 1 – 7 p.m.
• Henderson Harbor, 1 – 7 p.m.
• Lake Bryan, 9 a.m. – 10 p.m.
• Legends Event Center, NXTPro Basketball Tournament (ticketed event)
• Sadie Thomas Pool, 1 – 5 p.m.

Animal Control is available 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Call 979-361-3888 for assistance during or after hours.

To make a BTU bill payment, call 979-821-5700 to use the automated voice service, visit the BTU website at btutilities.com, or stop by a kiosk (please note, these locations may have separate holiday hours):

• H-E-B, Texas Avenue and State Highway 21
• H-E-B, 725 E. Villa Maria Road
• BTU Downtown Bryan drive-through, 205 E. 28th St. (open 24 hours)
• BTU office drive-through, 2611 N. Early Rudder Freeway (open 24 hours)

For emergencies related to electric, water, wastewater, signals, signs, streets, drainage, and solid waste, call BTU dispatch at 979-822-3777.

Fireworks Reminder

The possession, storage, sale, use, and discharge of fireworks of all types are prohibited. This includes all types of consumer fireworks, such as firecrackers, smoke bombs, fountains, sparklers, poppers, and Roman candles. Fireworks are also illegal in College Station. The safest way to enjoy fireworks safely is by attending a professional display.
