Organizations and community members who have a program or project designed to elevate the arts, culture, and tourism in our community are invited to apply for the City of Bryan’s Arts and Culture Development Grant.
The funding period is for the fiscal year 2024-2025 (Oct. 1, 2024 – Sept. 30, 2025).
Grants will be awarded based on eligibility and impact to Bryan, and are not to be used as ongoing funding to maintain or finance operations of an organization. Generally, grant amounts range from $2,500 to $25,000 based on a recommendation from the Arts and Culture Development Grant Review Committee.
In fiscal year 2024, the City of Bryan funded 17 different projects totaling about $150,000.
Applications must be submitted through the online portal by July 8. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.
The grant is made possible through Hotel Occupancy Tax (HOT) revenues, and may go towards a program or project that presents, performs, executes or exhibits music, dance, drama, art, creative writing, architecture, painting, sculpture, photography, motion pictures, and other various art forms.
Those interested must complete the online application by July 8.
For programs or projects falling within fiscal year 2025-2026 (Oct. 1, 2025 – Sept. 30, 2026), applications are anticipated to open in June/July 2025.
