Bryan didn’t become a success story overnight. It took years of work, innovation, leadership and patience. The foundations which began more than 150 years ago have paid off in ways that past generations couldn’t have imagined.
Bryan, College Station and Texas A&M University have been named the host community for the 2025-26 Texas Amateur Athletic Federation Games of Texas.
The largest amateur athletic competition in Texas was hosted locally in 1988, 1994, 2000, 2014, 2015, 2018, and 2019. The 2019 Games of Texas, held at a variety of sports venues, drew 8,461 athletes and 20,000 spectators, and dropped an estimated $8.1 million into the local economy.
The 2022 Games of Texas will be held in Corpus Christi before heading to Brownsville in 2023-24.
