Pendleton Drive will be closed at the intersection of FM 158/Boonville Road to Beacon Heights for road repairs from Sept. 10 to Oct. 15.
New Monthly Social for Senior Adults
Looking to meet new people and try something new? The Parks and Recreation Department invites ages 55 and older to take part in new monthly socials. Held on the second Tuesday of each month from 3 to 5 p.m., these events offer a great opportunity to connect with others and enjoy engaging activities.
Registration is required by the Monday before each social, with a per-person fee based on the activity. Here’s what’s coming up:
Tuesday, Sept. 10
- $10 per person; registration ends Sept. 9
- Play Singo (a fun spin on Bingo)
- Legends Event Center
Tuesday, Oct. 8
- $5 per person; registration ends Oct. 7
- Pickleball (instruction and open play)
- Neal Recreation Center
Tuesday, Nov. 12
- $10 per person; registration ends Nov. 11
- Educational Discussion: Fraud Protection
- Legends Event Center
Tuesday, Dec. 10
- $20 per person; registration ends Dec. 9
- Holiday Cookie Decorating
- Legends Event Center
